Sebert R. Armstrong

Sebert R. ArmstrongMr. Armstrong left the corporate world where he has held positions from General Manager of a division of CONRAC Corp. to Engineering and Sales Management for Amerace-ESNA Corp. to starting a new product for the Haydon Division of General Time Corp., from design concepts to customer engineering.  The new product was in the mechanical power transmission business and was quite successful.  On January 1, 1972 Mr. Armstrong started in private business and eventually ended up owning and running a business with two factories in the power transmission field for 18 years.  Since that time he has done some consulting work and started on the development of the electric outboard approximately three years ago.  After the motor design was completed he contacted a friend, Matt Baum, to consider coming on board to design the electronic drive and logic portion of the drive system. 

Mr. Armstrong is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he was on their varsity basketball team.  After graduation and during his regular five year program he attended University of Cincinnati night school as well as Case Western Reserve and George Washington University when he was stationed at Andrews Air Force Base on one of his two tours of duty.  Mr. Armstrong's degrees are in Business Administration and Engineering.

John C. Peters

Mr. John C. Peters is a director of AMEMCO as well as an officer, and has been very instrumental in the structuring of the Company and the current stock offering. Mr. Peters is an attorney with extensive experience in this field.  He has held positions with John C. Peters, P.C. and John C. Peters and Associates during the past five years.  During that time he has always been President and CEO.  The firm has represented banks, corporations and individuals and has been counsel to firms involved in private placements and public offerings.  Its primary focus has been in banking, commercial and financial law.

Mr. Peters is a graduate of Augustana College, B.A. cum laude, with special honors in the humanities, and the University of Michigan Law School, J.D. cum laude, in 1959.

Matthew C. Baum

Mr. Matthew C. Baum is a director of AMEMCO as well as the designer of the electronics that control the drive system.  Mr. Baum has been extremely involved with the entire drive system and has been a valuable asset to the Company.  He left the corporate world in 1969 to form a company called Ambi-Tech that builds electronic braking systems, which was very successful and was sold to a large corporation in 1996.  Since that time he has been active as president and owner of Technical Advisers, Inc. and as a founder of AMEMCO.

Mr. Baum's educational background includes a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at New York University in 1952, Master of Electrical Engineering at NYU in 1954, Master of Business Administration at NYU in 1967 and graduate studies towards a Ph. D. at Columbia University from 1956-1958.


Mr. Baum has been granted the following patents:

Raymond Uzanas

Mr. Raymond Uzanas is a director of AMEMCO and brings a great deal of experience and expertise in start-up companies.  He was with a start-up company even as an undergraduate.  He joined Amplex Corp. where he held positions as Chief Chemist, Laboratory Director, V.P. of Manufacturing, Executive V.P., and ultimately President and CEO.  He eventually purchased a controlling interest in the company and later sold out to a major manufacturer.

Mr. Uzanas's scholastic background is at the University of Connecticut where he majored in Chemistry, the University of New Haven (Electro Chemistry), and the University of Hartford where he majored in Chemical Engineering.

Dr. Sidney Richman

Dr. Sidney Richman is a director of AMEMCO and a world renowned Cardiologist. Dr. Richman has been involved with the electric outboard drive system and being a boater himself was quite impressed and agreed to join our team.  Dr. Richman is not only an avid boater but is involved in many environmental projects to improve the conditions for water we drink and air we breathe.

Dr. Richman has had an extensive background as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Director of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital, Chairman of the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Hartford Heart Association, Scientific Chairman of the Hartford Medical Society, Consultant in Cardiology UConn Medical School.  For the past five years he has been Chief, Section of Cardiology - West Palm Beach VA Medical Center and has just recently returned to private practice.

Dr. Richman's educational background is as follows; A.B. Brown University 1954, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, M.D. - Washington University School of Medicine, Teaching fellow in medicine Harvard Medical School, a fellow in American College of Physicians, Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Cardiovascular Disease.
